Featuring over 200 precious objects from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the new exhibitition “FABERGÉ: The Rise and Fall” opened on October 14, 2012, and will run through January 12, 2013, at the Detroit Institute of Arts. The show traces Karl Fabergé’s rise to fame, highlighting his business savvy, artistic innovations, and privileged relationship with the Russian aristocracy. Scripted under the superb editorial eye of Acoustiguide, Inc.’s, creative director, Julie Treumann, Deborah Schull’s audio tour for the exhibition has drawn some rave reviews. Lynn H. (“Elite ‘12”) from Northville, Michigan, told YELP: “The audio tour that accompanies the exhibit is first class, and I do not say that lightly. Of the dozens and dozens of audio tours I've taken, this is probably the best, combining Fabergé and Russian history expertise to create a compelling and completely accessible story.”
